Bob, I agree. But we cannot hold up the proliferation of the 6-bone I don't think for long if there is a single point of failure. Using RFC 1897 we can build the addresses but it better for now if Geert is in the loop. So if someone wants to send sipper.pa-x.dec.com an IPv6 packet they must go through Europe as opposed to the UNH-BAY-DEC point? If so that is not a good idea??? thanks /jim
