I've tried that.
Makes no difference.  It still goes into [tentative] state.  I'm looking
for a way to say, "Look you SOB... I *manually* configured this %^&#@ IP
address!  Don't ^&#^%^&#ggin' try to second guess me!  Just %@^%#^&gin
accept the address I've given you with the "ipv6 address" command!!!

The ^&#*gin router won't do that though.  It wants to treat me like
someone who can't manage their own IP space and needs their router
to do it for them.
