Was that Microsoft based ODBC attached database from that badly timed message earlier, about a similar database? The site wasn't at home when I clicked the link.

For some reason that I've made it my business not to delve into, those databases such as ones built using Microsoft based ODBC, and related tools, almost always have lousy security,  unless the developer takes the time to dig through mountains of poorly written manuals to find the right settings to lock down the database.

Jørgen Hovland, you did the right thing in pointing it out. But I don't think the original correspondent will appreciate it. Oh, and what else did do, besides bring this up?
