==================
AAAA RECORDS
==================

2.2 AAAA data format

   A 128 bit IPv6 address is encoded in the data portion of an AAAA
   resource record in network byte order (high-order byte first).

--RFC 1886

BIND Example:
    foo.bar.net IN AAAA     3ffe:1234:5678:1::1

==================
A6 RECORDS
==================

   o A new resource record type, "A6", is defined to map a domain name
      to an IPv6 address, with a provision for indirection for leading
      "prefix" bits.

-- RFC 2874

BIND Example:
    ip6prefix     IN A6 0 3ffe:1234:5678::
    ns6           IN A6 48 ::1:a:b:c:d ip6prefix
    www6          IN A6 48 ::1:b:c:d:e ip6prefix
