FreeBSD 4.2 & NetBSD 1.5 issue

I am running both OSs on and IPv6 network and I have noticed that in both
OSs, the ethernet interface drops its global IPv6 address and then gets it
back (within approximately 30 sec.).  Has anyone else seen this happening?
Does not happed on FreeBSD 4.0 system.
