Tera Term and IPv6

Hi there, 
  I'm trying to get Tera Term to work over IPv6. It works with IPv4 alright, 
and I was wondering is the syntax of the IPv6 address the problem? Or must I
have a domain name associated with the IPv6 address in order to connect using
telnet or ssh over IPv6?
