flap rate drop - 05/18/98 6Bone Routing Report (from Merit)

Someone must be doing something right to reduce the 6bone flap rate. Today's routing report for the 18th shows the least Announcement/Withdraw rate yet: 3861/150.
Least you think I exagerate, look at the reports for the last 8 days:

Anyone know what's going on? Or is this just the natual evolution of folks moving to more compatible BGP4+ versions?
