Today I've uploaded what's supposed to be our new homepage. It's not finished yet, but at least all links point somewhere and there are actually pictures on the buttons this time. All feedback is welcome on emiel@unfix.org.

Millions of oopses... yep, you guessed it. Fuzzel has resumed his /dev/changer project, and... (the crowd goes wild) ...it started to work! Check the projects page for more info...

This is the final of the new design. There is now a nice template, and Clone is going to make his own derivement of webspitter. Which will be faster and more modular etc... at least that is what he says...

Clone is still busy with CWG. And when he's finished we'll prolly redesign the total site again. Anyway we're currently busy gathering as much info to make a nice demo for the Bizarre 1999 party in September. I am very busy with /dev/changer Clone is busy with his CWG (Clone's Web Generator) Spook still tries to be a gfx guy and has setup his nice own 24/7 inet connection, and thus he's anoying the hell out of the people at #linux.nl@ircnet. Corwin is currently being a bastard bandwidth filler Suf-Duck is finally living on his own and on an internship, making him very busy (at least he says). And Fear is trying to finalize her exams. Anyway we'll be sneaking through the TakeOver 1999 party. For people who will notice...yes, I've redone most layout's etc to make it truly 100% the same... unfortunatly without the help of cwg...

Yep we went here too to annoy the hell out of everyone we could find.

Again another update yes yes... and still not a major one.
Expect a major one later this summer and at least before Bizarre 1999 which will be held the 3rd, 4th and 5th of September 1999 in Etten Leur, The Netherlands.
A snippet of the changes I made:

• Nedstat complained cause of the 10x10 logo, changed it to 18x18 on the main page only and moved to the bottom of the page to make it more visible.
• Finally added a project index with a nice logo on the main page (see here). The radarwork is drawn in Visio and Photoshop.
• Added a robots.txt to keep those creepy crawlers out of some sections.
• Updated the /dev/changer project page.
• Added a small disclaimer and a copyright (c)(tm)(z) notice to the mainpage (see the bottom).
• Updated the template.
• Added News and Projects to the right-hand menu.

We really need an easy remote-admin for this... and we'll need to add some "real" content, see the projects page for the unfix.org project. Currently unfix.org is 100% hand maintained and that's a lot of work. Hope Clone hurries with his cwg.

And yes yes again another update..A snippet of the changes I made:

• Added a Links page.
• Made some of the news topics smaller, this so the page can shrink.
• unfix.org Admin CGI is starting to work.

We'll be having Suf's and Spook's birthday-party at Suf's place tomorrow night. NOTE: www.bizarre.nl has gone online!

The weekend of Bizarre 1999.... it was again a very cool party... even though that the temperature was around 50 degrees and that both my boxes where hitting the 50 degrees registered by the motherboard sensors. We had a lot of fun and that's what it's all about :)
Fear & Mindex/New Order entered a little joke entry into the Non-Handdrawn compoentry for Bizarre. It was kind of revenge for a joke I pulled with Fear... And of course they used one of the terrific photo's ever to be made of me... Advice from me to everyone/thing: Never trust someone with a camera... :)

We (Clone, Fuzzel & me, Nippon) were nicely sitting on a terras taking the easy and putting down some drinks. We were discussing some weird things yet again and had just bought 3 Microsoft IntelliMouse Explorer's while suddenly stupidily the subject of a possible nickchange was the main subject. I already wanted to change my nick for some time and suddenly Fuzzel came to the following simpleconclusion:
Jean-Paul == .jp == Japan == Nippon
And thus my new handle was born :)

Eeks... yes this is a big eeeks alright, the hosting of unfix.org has stopped at it's current location due to problems with the router which wasn't routing any packets no longer...

On IRCNet we have opened a unfix dedicated channel called: #unfix. It's protected by our very own bot called Bingo, Bingo The Clowno.

Ah well at least part of it. As you might have noticed, Unfix.org services where disrupted due to the fact that we lost our hosting, anyway it's starting to work again. We're in the process of creating some new software which will provide us all the services. The software is part of the Fuzzix Project in which it will evolve to a full blown Operating System. Using it as our main services will be a great test to it :)

It was time for a new graphics card again, the Matrox G200 and the Voodoo 2 went out and were replaced by a brand sparkling new Creative Blaster Annihilator GeForce 256 - 32mb... which actually does do the job. It supports OpenGL and DirectX and all of this with working drivers which were released before the card was out :) Eat that Matrox!

Well see the topic... it simply does...PS: Is this getting stupid, I mean two "Rules" items after each other :)

Well it's the time of year again... it's december, which that means it's almost X-mas!!!And as it's christmas I gotta do the christmas cards again.Oh boy oh boy oh boy!Official Quote: "Zo'n inktvlek printer heh, nou dat zuigt!"

I liked the blueish/icy color on the X-mas cards I made so good that I made a new design for a special edition of unfix.org: "unfix.org - Millenium Edition", I think it's kind of a requirement to go along with the season and because we are going to be having a Millenium Change, which is something special indeed, I think it should have it's own special design for the occasion. Let's hope everyone likes it... Note: I'm not going to be very picky about it but simply to show to some people who think it's not the millenium change at 1999/2000, well technically speaking they are right. Like centuries, milleniums are counted starting at one (1), so we are going to the third millenium, not the second...

I've put the Millenium Edition online, even though it lacks the links pages which simply is empty. The email for unfix.org still isn't online, but it should be later on this week. We'll probably have moved the host up a couple of IP's so that it has a dedicated IP for itself.
